What does it really mean "Fitness for everybody"? We literally mean that every single person can do CrossFit. We know not everyone wants to and we know that movements look different on each person depending on multiple factors (fitness level, injury, age, body dimensions). That is what is so great! Take the Muir family for example. Carole came to us with many aches, pains and extra weight that she wanted to get rid of. She started with our Ignite boot-camp, 3 days each week as well as our customized meal plan. Carole's super power is consistency. She continues to go to class at least 3 days/week (she even attends some CrossFit classes!). She is consistent with her food, which has been the catalyst for her losing almost 90 pounds! Emily came to us 21 years young and full of fire, spunk and athleticism! She has been in sports her entire life and CrossFit seemed like a good idea to participate in off-season. She fell in love with the sport and the community so much that she went on to get her Level 1 CrossFit Certification and Olympic Lifting Certification. She is a leader to the comp squad and loves coaching classes when she can. Emily is competitive in the sport of CrossFit, which fuels her drive to compete in athletics past college. Gary was the first to find us! He brought Emily in and has been the number one supporter of all of his girls. He helps prepare healthy meals, attends all of our community events and loves watching Emily compete! This family is what we envision as CrossFit in a nutshell. Health, nutrition, alleviating pain, weight loss, community, fitness and support. For anyone who thinks they could never do CrossFit- talk with Carole. For anyone who is wanting to up their fitness and compete with their peers- talk to Emily. For anyone who is wondering if they should give us a try- talk to Gary. We are different. We want to help you. We can get you to your goals- just ask the Muir family! https://crossfit1936.pushpress.com/open/interested
